Welcome to the wonderland of Math!
I've taken Integrated Math 2 and Honors Algebra 2.
Integrated Math 2
I took this AP with little experience in coding…and I think it was great! (we'll have to see about my AP test results though…) But here's ALL my advice and things I really should've done to get a 5 in this class.
- DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. You will lose all your braincells trying to cram the concepts last minute. And you won't be able to focus well. So lock in early!!! Pace yourself, I think it would be easier to build up all your knowledge throughout the year…but if you're like me and like waiting last minute, lock in a month before and use all of these resources below!
- Khan Academy saved my LIFE. Like I'm not joking. Shout out to Khan Academy.
- I made my create task on code.org. It was fairly simple, simple enough for me to talk freely about it on the FRQs. If you want yours to be more creative, then spice up your app layout with making your own visuals from Canva! I wish I could show mine, but AP results aren't out yet!
- DON'T CHAT GPT your create task. It might be tempting but like, you need to understand your code for the FRQ. Sure, you could Chat GPT an explanation for it all, but what are the chances of you remembering that all? And it's good practice for the MCQs. Google some YouTube tutorials, add a few of your own things, maybe get Chat GPT to help debug it all. And don't forget to credit your external sources!
